          Verdict

          KEEP IT DARK carries a penalty for last week's victory at Beverley but he's won here in the past with a higher rating and should go well. Penny Royale's only victory has come on fast going while Lady Ibrox hasn't won a race since 2011 which came on heavy going. Lorimer's Lot is consistent enough at this level but 2-25 is a poor strike-rate while the veteran Oldjoesaid is still searching for his 10th victory on his 99th start. Royal Acquisition has won three times on Polytrack but never reached a place on Turf, though Silvestre De Sousa is an interesting booking. Compton River has been placed eight times in 15 starts and is much better than he showed at Beverley last time.
