      Verdict

      GREAT KING made a promising start when third over a mile at Kempton. This shorter trip will suit and Roger Varian has an impressive strike rate here especially with two-year-old runners. True Courage showed some promise at York on his debut and looks a bigger threat than Isla Kai and Ladywood with normal progress while Action Hero is a 100,000gns half-brother to three winners and a newcomer to note.
