A tough start to the 2008 season but narrow preference is for Rothesay Dancer ahead of Feelin Foxy and Morristown Music. They look sure to go a fair clip here and that should suit Rothesay Dancer who needs to be held up in her races. She stays six furlongs as well as this minimum trip but she will not mind any further rain and she looks to be on a fair enough mark. If she needs the run (has done on occasions in the past), then it may pay to side with Morristown Music who won well on her final start last year. She will love further rain as she goes well in the mud but she is held by the selection on their running back in May of last year at Hamilton. The betting will help in regard to many of those returning for their first runs of the season (most notably Gap Princess and Darcy's Pride), whilst Rann Na Cille and Wibbadune come here on the back of all-weather wins and will come here fit and on a high. Feelin Foxy ended last season on a high but those runs came at six furlongs and she may just struggle over the minimum trip today, and so preference is for Rothesay Dancer at a price.
