Scarlet Prince posted a woeful effort when sent off favourite over C&D last time. He'd won a maiden seller at Thirsk before that with Little Red Minx beaten four lengths and the latter has since gone close at this track. Baileys Over Ice finished further back in the same race at Thirsk so a tentative vote goes to LADY MANDY. She's not been beaten far in a couple of handicaps this year and today's greater test of stamina may see her in a better light. Vexillum won at Yarmouth earlier this month but is another to disappoint on his latest start.
