Verdict

Sir Mark Prescott would have been delighted with BRASSICA’s reappearance in a Listed race at Yarmouth last week. If this doesn’t come too soon, this lightly-raced filly could make a winning start in handicaps. Takumi may not have quite got home over 1m4f at Newmarket and it’s no surprise to see Roger Varian’s gelding back over his winning trip. He must be a threat to all but Mr Coco Bean finished last at York when seeking a fourth win in five starts and has gone up 20lb since April. Addis Ababa was third in that York race and has place claims again along with Delph Crescent.
