Verdict

Daffydowndilly has claims on last year's placed efforts and should figure if ready to go on her reappearance, but VALENTINE'S GIFT could make his fitness advantage tell. He showed a big improvement on his latest start at Doncaster and the return to 7f will suit now the penny's dropped. Fenella Fudge is looking pretty exposed and gets first-time headgear in the hope of improvement, while Wandering Lad and Chardonnay Star have both struggled in plating company of late and Toffee Nose has shown little so far.
