Verdict
GALESBURG was gaining his third victory in seven starts over this trip on soft ground at Beverley and the runner-up Zahrat Narjis goes in the previous race. Mark Johnston's charge looked the type who could win again and with just 4lb extra to contend with will be difficult to beat. Dandyleekie had some decent form over longer trip in Ireland but David O'Meara dropped him back to 6f on his first start for the yard at Ripon and he stayed on strongly to lead close home. Today's trip will be in his favour and he's only 3lb higher. Jordan Sport was having his first start since September when leading for much of the way at Wolverhampton last month and will be better for the run while Dutch Breeze showed that this trip and soft ground hold no fears when getting up close home at Carlisle in October.
