        Verdict

        River Kirov is the obvious form choice here and is taken to the Cumani newcomer Libor, with Advancement another debutante to watch for in the betting. River Kirov is given another chance following a slightly disappointing effort last time out at Warwick. He was backed down to 5/4 but could only finish fifth behind Portland. However his previous second to Red Evie has been well advertised by the winner and a similar effort today should easily be good enough. Libor doesn't look anything special on pedigree but is from a yard that has to be respected here at Redcar and any money for this one would be significant. Advancement is from a yard that is flying at present and is a half-brother to Philharmonic. The trip should be ideal and as with Libor the market should give clues. The rest make very little appeal and so it doesn't look too difficult a task for our selection River Kirov.
