      Verdict

Rickyroadboy has been in fine form this spring winning at Ripon and Thirsk. Both victories came on ground with some give and he didn't mind faster going when runner-up in a big field at Thirsk. Tember has yet to win but has shown ability as he did at Newcastle last time. He ran well on fast going at Beverley last summer and is well enough handicapped to lose his maiden tag though it's LIFE FOR RENT who gets the nod. From Tim Easterby's in-form yard, he has yet to prove he stays 6f though he won on fast going over the minimum at Thirsk last summer and today's conditions should prove ideal. Jaalboot led for a long way over 7f at Wolverhampton last time so is an obvious contender over what should prove his optimum trip.
