    Verdict

Spryt only had three rivals to beat to lose his maiden tag at Hamilton and has been beaten in better class handicaps on his two subsequent starts. Father Bertie's hat-trick bid came to an end at Ripon and he's probably as high as he wants to go while Gun Case was beaten six lengths into second at Newmarket after landing a Sandown handicap from 6lb lower. After landing a Nottingham maiden on soft ground, Lovely Surprise was sent to Ascot for a Listed handicap but trailed in last though the going was very fast and she can do much better. WARDAT DUBAI has gradually progressed and made all for a convincing victory at Beverley in what was just his fourth start. He's entitled to improve again and looks the one to be on.
