In depth

Verdict

Blue Army has been showing good pace before fading but the fact that he's been sent here in an attempt to lose his maiden tag suggests he's not very well regarded. Maggie's Diamond has had two runs on ground with plenty of give and today's faster conditions may be more to her liking. She can go well but DUELLING DRAGON is given the vote. David Barron's charge started favourite on his debut on Polytrack in February and didn't reappear until earlier this month when he still looked very green. He'll have learnt from that and can get off the mark. Playtothewhistle has only run at Southwell so it's anyone's guess how he'll react to Turf but Ribblehead has a nice pedigree and with Tim Easterby in good form he's one to note in the market.
