In depth

Verdict

So Sweet can defy topweight at the expense of Monkey Glas, Nota Liberata and Nufoudh. So Sweet has to give weight to her six rivals, but Mick Channon's filly looked very progressive when lowering the colours of the favourite Zonta Zitkala at Sandown last time, and is the pick. She was well backed to score that day, having missed the break previously on her Newmarket debut, and may improve enough here to be considered for a couple of big races in which she is entered at The Curragh next month. Her main rival here appears to be Monkey Glas, a winner here over six furlongs in June, and who appreciated the step up to today's trip when successful at Newcastle three weeks ago. Nota Liberata has plenty of experience but is already a bit exposed, while fellow maiden Nufoudh needs to show more than he has. So Sweet has the potential to be a lot better, and should pay to follow today.
