    Verdict

    Burano hasn't won since May of last year but has mostly run at a higher level and is now 4lb lower than that mark. Indy hasn't won since making a successful debut in 2013 but hasn't had much racing and this will be the lowest grade he's ever raced in so must be kept on the right side. Salmon Sushi is another with a long losing spell to overcome, though he ran well over the track and trip in a better race than this early last month. Auspicion is 5lb higher than when landing a lesser class handicap at Pontefract in May while Gulf Of Poets ran a shocker here last time, though may not have been suited by front-running. ABSOLUTE ZERO doesn't look a stable star but has more scope than any of these having made all at Windsor. He's been raised 6lb and this is a slightly higher class race but at least he's arriving in form unlike most of his rivals.
