In depth

Verdict

Baileys Liberty turned in a shocker at Yarmouth last month and is stepping up a furlong. Jersey Rose beat Atomic lady here on soft ground in May but couldn’t confirm the form in a nursery at York last month and is conceding weight all round. Little Miss Dynamo and May Punch are closely matched on their run together over track and trip four weeks ago but the former has more scope. SUMMER’S DAY is a rare two-year-old runner here for Charlie Appleby. She ran in snatches on debut at Doncaster but the penny was dropping in the latter stages and she’ll know more today.
