      Verdict

      Di's Gift was still beaten seven lengths when runner-up at Pontefract and the younger horses make more appeal, in particular SPIRITOFTHEUNION. She showed a big improvement to finish second over track and trip last time so Michael Bell's filly can open her account in this. Haydn's Lass and Braes Of Lochalsh look likely improvers and while Shaf showed little on her introduction he should appreciate this longer trip.
