Verdict

It may be an advantage to be drawn high on the straight course this evening so we'll take on the filly Candy Banter, even though she's the only one to have managed a place so far and will improve on her run at Pontefract. By Far is a half-brother to several winners and carries the Godolphin colours. But he may do better over further whereas BEST NEW SHOW is sprint-bred. Bob Cowell's grey is a full sister to the useful Maid In Heaven and, with the stands' rail to help and Graham Lee doing the steering, can make a winning debut.
