Verdict
This looks tricky as it features several in-form sprinters. EXCESSABLE is one of three previous course winners in the line-up and Tim Easterby’s four-year-old produced a career-best effort last time at York. He’s been raised 4lb for that but a similar display could see him overturn earlier Beverley running with Stanghow. Tarboosh is not easy to catch right but is another who could figure on his best behaviour and Muatadel is running well. The three-year-old Arzaak is another to consider but the market will probably tell us what to expect from the returning Aleef.
