        Verdict

        HIGHKINGOFIRELAND can be given another chance and he can account for Acquisition and Madamlily. Karl Burke's charge made little impact in a hot handicap at Sandown on his latest start but he had won well previously at Ripon over 1m1f and if he can handle the step up in trip, he can go well at a price. Acquisition won an egg-and-spoon race at Leicester. She is bred for this trip though the handicapper appears to have taken few chances. Madamlily represents the in form John Quinn. She has proved disappointing this season but was putting in good late work over course and distance. Captain Imperial looks as if needing softer ground. Royal Trooper will need to settle early whilst Amethyst Dawn has dropped significantly down the weights though not without good reason. Highkingofireland is the selection.
