      Verdict

FAST SHOT has been in cracking form lately and this is a lot less competitive than his latest outing at York, where he kept on well after encountering traffic problems in the early stages. Tim Easterby's four-year-old looks a better bet than stablemate The Nifty Fox in this grade and is fancied to return to winning ways, though Doctor Parkes will almost certainly be back in the winner's circle before long and veteran Beckermet has been enjoying something of an Indian summer lately. The hat-trick seeking Spinatrix can't be ignored and Arganil also has a chance at the weights but Powerful Presence still looks to be in the handicapper's grip and Caranbola reserves her best for Beverley.
