James Watt won this last year but he's been in poor form subsequently which is why he's 10lb lower. Lotus Rose has also won over the course and distance and she bounced back to form at Doncaster last time. She was conceding 2lb to Manila Scouse when the latter won by just under two lengths at Catterick, though that was back in October 2021 and the winner hasn't run since. GLORY FIGHTER has performed at a higher level throughout his career and was having his first start since October when placed in this class at Doncaster last month. He's now 10lb lower than when starting out last season and looks the one to beat. Reigning Profit completed a Pontefract double last month and was racing in much better company when not disgraced at Goodwood a week ago so looks a real threat.
