      Verdict

      It was soft ground when the well-supported STAR OF LADY M beat Primrose Bridge to make a winning debut at Redcar and, with conditions in her favour again, a quick double looks on the cards. The runner-up had earlier finished four lengths in front of Teatime Tipple at Doncaster with Beach Breeze, who led for a long way, further behind. Majil is a half-sister to the useful sprinter Spycatcher and other winners so could provide the main threat.
