        Verdict

        Two Sox may be capable of better this year but this run will probably be needed and the Easterby gelding looks too close in the weights to MARIE’S GEM. The top weight, a half-brother to four winners, has placed over 1m2f at Redcar and Bath in recent weeks and should handle the extra quarter-mile. Brodick usually runs her race and Chelmsford fourth Lord Warburton is tried in cheekpieces in an attempt to wrest further improvement.
