      Verdict

      CANFORD BAY (NAP) has won a further four times since landing this in 2019. Recent efforts on the all-weather point to another bold bid and he’s preferred to stablemate Mutabaahy. The latter is best on the all-weather though can race off a lower mark back on this surface after scoring at Wolverhampton. Afandem finished in front of Dapper Man when runner-up at Musselburgh last time though found Pavers Pride too good over track and trip back in September with Van Gerwen further behind. Abate made a winning reappearance at Thirsk last year so can't be ignored.
