Verdict

GRAND GOLD finished third on last week's debut behind that good yardstick Choice Of Remark and is fancied to open his account here with improvement likely. It's certainly better form than any of the others with experience have produced and the chief danger to the selection could be the newcomer Maastricht, whose yard have won this three times since 2004. Tim Easterby runs three and the best of those could prove to be Piece By Piece, a half-brother to last week's Beverley winner Meandmyshadow.
