        Verdict

        KIMBALI showed plenty of early pace but couldn't catch the winner over the stiff 5f at Beverley on his debut. He had Trust Fund Babe well behind and, with an apprentice taking 5lb off his back, he makes more appeal than stablemate Our Boy Jack. The latter was as disappointing last time as he was when favourite for the Brocklesby in April. Busy Bimbo was well beaten over 6f last month, but had finished in front of See Clearly and Red Shadow at York before that. The latter has since ran well at Beverley, while Show Of Faith and Lady Hello make most appeal of the newcomers.
