Verdict

David Brown has had an unusually quiet start to 2022 so it’s hoped that Can Can Girl can give a good account of herself today but there’s little room for sentiment in this game and APPIER is taken to continue to prosper from some canny campaigning as he bids to register a fifth win from six recent starts. Gibside was caught by him at Beverley though supporters of Tim Easterby’s charge will point out that he will enjoy a massive turnaround at the weights this afternoon. Robertthebruce is unexposed and is worth a glance in the betting.
