Verdict

Having trained five of the last eight winners, Tim Easterby's colt Reassert is worth a second glance. Sudest and Roudee are others to note, though Midterm Break may be better over longer trips later in the year. Spirit Of Zeb and Mistress Makfi hail from powerful yards and it would be no surprise if both finished thereabouts, but the speculative vote goes to MANDARIN GIRL. She's a half-sister to smart Listed winner Fig Roll and may well be good enough to score at the first time of asking.
