    Verdict

Beat The Tide was having only his sixth start when gaining his second career victory at Ayr and a 3lb rise looks insignificant so he'll be very difficult to beat. Ambleside battled to victory in a small field at Haydock and has to be a threat but the one to take from that race is GOOD SPEECH, who attempted to make all and was fighting back after being headed when impeded. She can reverse places with the winner and take this though neither Nonotnow, who could have done with a stronger pace here last time, nor Duke Of Yorkshire, who beat Ambleside over the track and trip last month, can be dismissed.
