Advanced continues to defy his years and Kevin Ryan may be able to get another race out of him before the season ends but this may be a little too competitive at this stage of the campaign. Victoire De Lyphar hasn't won for a while but is starting to look very well handicapped, though he was no match for today's rival Barkston Ash at Ayr in October. The latter should strip fitter for a run at Doncaster while Lucky Dan has won twice at Wolverhampton this year, though carries a penalty for his latest success. SANDY LANE also has 6lb extra but won in a canter over 7f at Catterick eight days ago and is still improving - he'll be hard to beat here.
