      Verdict

Beau Artiste, Eoz and Danny Leahy have all shown signs of ability, particularly the first-mentioned, but it will be a surprise if this does not go to Musanid, who looks a class apart from his rivals. The son of Swain was unlucky to come up against a couple of useful colts in the shape of Cat Ona High and Lateen Sails in his two starts as a juvenile but with nothing of that calibre in the line-up today, and with the stable of Sir Michael Stoute in fine form, Musanid can open his account. Beau Artiste has been placed in all four starts so far and will surely be found a suitable opportunity before too long but faces a stiff task against the selection here. Eoz, a son of Sadler's Wells, should appreciate this longer trip but arguably wants further still, while Danny Leahy, who showed promise on his Doncaster debut, probably needs more time.
