    Verdict

Roger Charlton has his Beckhampton team in excellent order at present and can add to the tally with Avid Spell while A Little Bit Yarie and First Order look the main dangers. The selection proved no match for subsequent Listed winner Attraction on his debut but showed the benefit of the experience when runner-up behind another useful yardstick in a Newcastle maiden. The son of Expelled opened his account in a minor event at Brighton last time and looks the type who will continue to progress while the fitting of first time blinkers should help to sharpen him up for the job in hand. A Little Bit Yarie got off the mark at the second time of asking at Hamilton and was then narrowly denied a follow-up success at Redcar. Karl Burke's charge has to give the selection 2lb but looks capable of further improvement and should give another good account. First Order showed plenty of promise behind a smart prospect on his debut at Redcar last week and gets all the weight allowances from the previous winners so will prove no pushover in an interesting heat.
