Verdict
Beyond Desire is an interesting newcomer along with Cross Key, however FLY SILCA FLY sets a fair enough standard and is taken to get off the mark at the fifth time of asking. Mick Channon has a fairly decent strike-rate at the track and this Hawk Wing filly must come here with a good chance. She was well-held in the Chesham at Royal Ascot but she has a couple of decent efforts in maidens to her name and this track should suit. Lady Lefroy's run behind Ballodair last time is working out fairly well, whilst Perfect Blossom has shaped with promise in two starts but may be one for handicaps in due course. Beyond Desire made ¿55,000 at the sales and is related to several winners, although the majority of them improved over further. Cross Key needs plenty of respect with the stable in top form and the market should be a good guide to her chance, and the expectations of connections, whilst Summa Cum Laude may struggle to take top honours here but is one for the future. Any market support for Timeless Elegance would be of interest although again like many in the race, she is bred to be better over further, and so it is Fly Silca Fly who can swoop for victory.
