        Verdict

        Not a race for the faint hearted but Noel Wilson was prepared to acquire I T GURU out of a seller at Lingfield and we'll back the trainer to achieve something that Richard Hannon could not in three starts with the colt. Lolamotion kept on well to win a Beverley claimer and comfortably had the measure of Whispering Wolf. Ann Duffield's filly was subsequently beaten at Musselburgh though she still holds stronger claims than most. Griffin Street is of interest on his first drop into plating company. The gelding showed a glimmer of ability on his debut though seemed not to progress in two further maidens. Richard Fahey's runners at this level are always to be feared and Scarlet Pursuits is respected despite offering little on the racecourse thus far.
