        Verdict

        The handicapper is taking no chances with Aegaeus and has raised him another 6lb for finishing second at Kempton last month. He should still figure but CLON BRULEE could prove better value. The latter hasn't raced since September but made a winning return at Haydock last year and looks capable of winning off his current mark this season. Amaze has won over track and trip and could get involved dropped in class today. He makes more appeal than Gala Casino Star and Satanic Beat, who never got near the winner despite finishing third and fourth respectively at Musselburgh last time.
