Verdict

On a line through Mata Keranjang there should be little to choose between Tarooq and WAHEED, and the latter gets our vote. Marcus Tregoning's gelding was plenty green enough on debut at Sandown when staying on late for third. The experience there, step up in trip today, plus a good draw, makes him more appealing than Tarooq. Richard Fahey's charge is drawn very wide and he might want softer ground to be seen to best effect. Situation Vacant is an interesting newcomer who should be suited by the trip, while Wolf Rock might do better for the extra couple of furlongs and a decent draw. Mainland is feared if back to the form of his debut run here though we will side with Waheed.
