Verdict
ALQUFFAAL came good on his handicap debut at Pontefract back in June. He has a 10lb hike to contend with but Roger Varian’s charge won easily and winners have come out of the race. Blue Hussar won last year’s renewal and drops back to the same mark today but Sennockian Star and Modernism have looked stuck on their current marks for some time now. Wotabreeze remains 11lb higher than when scoring at Catterick in July but Peterhouse was beaten only a head at York last time and should confirm running with Mukhayyam despite the worse terms.
