        Verdict

        ENDLESS LIGHT made a very encouraging debut behind Velvety at Windsor and providing she handles this much softer ground can go one better. Zain Eagle showed potential in two runs on soft ground last autumn but it's a concern that he hasn't been seen this campaign while Jallundar has been placed in nine of his 14 starts without really looking like winning. Mark Johnston's Dawn Calling and Marco Botti's Semai are newcomers worth noting in the betting as both are bred for this sort of trip.
