      Verdict

      Dogged missed out on a hat-trick when only third in amateur company at Pontefract and it could pay to stick with LITTLE TED. The latter has now won three times here after last week’s success over 1m2f and is also preferred to Billy Roberts who has been beaten in amateur races either side of finishing second at Haydock. Loom Large and Peroni make no appeal in their current form.
