In depth

Verdict

BLINDINGLY continued his improvement with a victory at Newcastle last week having won in soft going at Thirsk before that. A 3lb rise may not be enough to prevent Ben Haslam’s charge from landing a hat-trick. Penny Pot Lane has winning form on today’s surface and can figure while Gullane One scored over track and trip last month and is not out of this if handling the slower ground. Kaafy has yet to win and his best form has been over the minimum trip so far while B Fifty Two’s form has taken a dip recently.
