        Verdict

        FORTIETH AND FIFTH has improved with every start culminating in a five-length stroll at Hamilton last time. He looks the one to beat on his handicap debut. Eastern Destiny posted a better effort on his return at Redcar and can figure while Danube River should be more at home in this grade having run poorly at Salisbury on her latest start. Indepub looks stuck on his current mark but has place claims nonetheless and Swift Encounter is the dark horse on his reappearance after landing a Beverley maiden back in August.
