Verdict
Osteopathic Remedy is hard to catch right but popped-up at 20/1 at Thirsk last month. He won the 2008 renewal as well as last year's renewal of this contest off lower marks than today but is still not easily dismissed. Wannabe King also won this prize in 2009, though he's done all his winning on a faster surface so far so this year's running can go to SHAVANSKY. He handles soft ground and his run behind Webbow over too short a trip at Goodwood last time looks decent form. Silvery Moon may have more to offer after an easy win at Redcar, but the handicapper has raised him 10lb, while Stevie Thunder has suffered the same fate after scoring at Newmarket last month. City Of The Kings won over 1m2f here in June and that seems his best trip nowadays, while jockey bookings suggest Master Of Arts is preferred to stablemate Shalloon.
