Mark's Choice won this off a higher mark last year but finished well behind IMPELLER over track and trip earlier in the month and the latter is taken to go one better. Origintrail showed signs of a return to form when narrowly beaten over the minimum trip recently while Twelfth Knight won here in May but would prefer some cut in the ground. Abate has won three times this season and is preferred to Showtime Mahomes of the rest.
