      Verdict

      Godolphin’s Gifts Of Gold was a €280,000 yearling and is a half-brother to three winners. Galitello is a half-brother to six winners but was a more modest purchase. It would be no surprise if either of the newcomers played a part in this, despite both having already been gelded, but we’ll stick with the experience of PRABENI despite the Haggas gelding failing by a neck to land the odds at Windsor earlier this month when Definition was a close-up fourth. Knightly Spirit appears to need soft going as he flopped on good ground at Chester in May and has changed stables since.
