Verdict

MINELLA KING deserves a change of fortune after his defeat by Seader at Ballinrobe as he looked to have had the race in the bag until joined on the run-in. This quicker ground should be in his favour though punters shouldn't get too carried away as he's still a maiden after 14 career starts. Presenting Kate showed a little promise in bumpers but will need to jump better than at Ballinrobe and Prayer From Heaven has yet to reach a place in 13 starts. Summersinerrill has hinted at ability on fast ground and the age allowance will be a help as it will be for Walden Prince, though the latter ran poorly on his latest start at Gowran in June.
