In depth

Helvic Dream has a penalty for his victory on soft ground here a fortnight ago but won with plenty in hand and won't be inconvenienced by the testing conditions. Agent Zero ran at the same fixture and was staying on strongly without quite getting there so should get into the money again. CHAMPERS ELYSEES was a 40/1 chance in a huge field of maidens on soft ground at the Curragh but belied her odds with a fine effort and, with more to come, can take this even though Mere Catherine has looked the type to be suited by these easier conditions in her two runs to date. Benignitas was engaged in the 2.20 at Cork yesterday.

Agent Zero (FR) 13-2 (9-5) Tracked leader and ran freely early, 3rd over 3f out, 4th over 2f out, switched left 1 1/2f out, not much room and lost place over 1f out, ridden in 6th 1f out, kept on well to 3rd closing stages, 3rd of 13, 4 1/2l behind Sherpa (9-5) at Roscommon 7f mdn sft in Aug.
