In depth

Verdict

Winning bumper Salvador Ziggy was always going well when beating a big field at Punchestown and looks the type to improve massively. Desert Friend hasn't been anywhere near this trip but was impressive over the minimum at Listowel. Doviator was having only his second start over timber when scoring at Down Royal but was suited by today's trip and was going away at the finish. Granny Lowrie was well supported when successful at Kilbeggan and there's plenty of potential there as there is for Rockanrye, just beaten over 3m at Kilbeggan after scoring at Killarney. BALLYBAUN STAR has suddenly found his form and never looked in any real danger at Ballinrobe. His stable is in top form and a double looks on the cards.
