Verdict

Jamie Codd was on board when SOME DAY SOON was well supported on his debut at Tramore and though his mount couldn't go the early pace he was staying on strongly at the finish and should have learnt enough to take this. Elusive Exclusive led for a long way on his debut at Limerick and will have benefited greatly from the experience while Derek O'Connor will ensure Doumba gets a good ride and his mount is related to some smart bumpers in France. Noel Meade's Kirwans Lane should attract some attention as his dam is a half-sister to Hurricane Fly.
