Verdict
Vert De Grece made a very encouraging debut in what looked a strong Leopardstown maiden won by Convergence. He's certain to improve but has the maximum weight to carry due to his purchase price. Gleneagles, who started favourite that day but only finished fourth, came out a few days later and won at the Curragh with Syntax not too far behind and the latter is another who should benefit from the experience. Easy Boy was beaten a long way in a three-runner affair at Down Royal so it's JACK NAYLOR who is handed the verdict. Jessica Harrington's filly showed the benefit of her introduction with a very good run in a similar race to this over 6f at Fairyhouse where she was staying on strongly at the finish.
