Pakens Rock, a winning bumper, made a promising start over timber when narrowly beaten at Ballinrobe but didn't make the expected progress on his next start at Punchestown. City Limits had a run on the Flat last month after a couple of disappointing efforts over hurdles and may need further. THE ABBEY (NAP) didn't show much in two starts last season but it was a different matter on his first start for Gordon Elliott at Clonmel when chasing home Celebrity Status, who was receiving 5lb. Normal progress can see him go one better though Whatsyourstatus looks a threat after running well in two Ballinrobe handicaps in May.
