Verdict

Like A Star has a superb pedigree and could do with a victory for the paddocks. She takes a drop in class after a her run in a Cork Group 3 but hasn't shown enough to merit consideration. It's almost a year since Newcross finished runner-up at Galway and might just need this before heading back to the Festival but FLAMING SEA made a very encouraging return from a long break when third behind Pearl Of The West at Gowran last week and can get off the mark. Kissing Bubbles looked in need of this sort of trip on her return to action at Naas but winning jumper Powersbomb has never run over a trip this short in 26 starts.
